I woke up early today to finish my macroeconomics homework. I stayed in the Science Building Until 11 but and when i went to my class no one was there. I plan on doing a lot of studying this weekend since a lot of quizzes and exams are comming up. This past week has been an interesting one. The club i mentioned i was going to attend "Krystals" wasnt as fun as it was suppose to be. Many things didnt go the way it shouldapos;ve went and it turned out to a long night., On a positive note monday i will be getting my first paycheck after 2 months of not recieving one. I havent recieved one because since they hired so many people my name wasnt in the system yet so i will be getting my checks very shortly. At least that was the excuse they gave me. Now after monday i can finally buy all the books i need upgrade my car parts and buy my sister a birhday present. Hopefully this week is better than the one before and hopefully next week is even more great.

1) Do people not understand the difference between platonic and casual encounters on CL? Really, "bi guy looking for action" does not fall under platonic.

2) Mmmmm caffeine.

3) It sucks that my take-er-over-er person at my school has to deal with a bunch of people who know so very little about education, not that theyapos;re bad teachers or have bad instincts, but that they never went to ed school and never had to do all the reading about how kids learn math and how standards-based curricula approach math and how kids score as well (or better) on state exams after working from standards-based curricula. This matters because this means that they think that lecture-practice IS the most effective way to teach mathematics and donapos;t want to try other things.

Yes, it is an effective way to teach some things in mathematics, but we know quite well what the failings are. We need to do other things too to try to avoid some of them...

Sadly, if youapos;re a 3rd year teacher with a MAT you donapos;t quite have it readily organized how you teach new teachers to think that different ways of teaching might produce better results than what theyapos;re getting now.

4) I like reading about research. But, I know what some authors are leaving out of their papers and some of the better stuff is what gets left out... Bah on them Speaking of which, I need to email that one now.

Well, 3 weeks and going strong. I forgot to say in my last entry that Jenn and Stuwart broke up, and that ALL the stuff he had over there she can keep. Shes wanting to go back to college to be in the Medical field, ya good luck with that. I was talking to Hailey yesterday and even tho shes still mad at me for what i did, she will allow me to come back to work at Pizza Hut with her. So what im going to do is see if i can work Tues, Wed and Thurs nights and what days off i have here at the building i will work at Pizza Hut. I was able to get my windshield replaced this past Saturday. I find it difficult to want to cheat on Jill, its funny cause when i was with Jenn or Miriah i cheated on them every chance i get, but with Jill, its like i want to but i cant, i hope it lasts, lol. I just hope i can handle 2 jobs at once, i know i will be tired but i need the money.

During last evening's debate, Barack Obama stated his only involvement with ACORN was to act as their attorney. Please refer to the Saul Alinsky article in this blog - You will note that Obama was an organizer and trainer for ACORN.

I have to ask you this question: Why does Obama find the need to distance himself from ACORN if his relationship with that organization was purely professional (legal)? Is Obama distancing himself from that organization because of their immoral and downright anti-democratic tactics - tactics Obama trained others to use Finally, the lie. THE LIE. When Obama stated his only involvement with ACORN was that he acted as legal counsel in two cases for ACORN, I wondered why John McCain didn't jump all over that lie? McCain wasn't adequately prepared to address Obama's fabrication because McCain was not focusing on those details. He and his campaign are leaving those answers up to folks like us. That's a fact.

You will also note that our recent video, "Agenda", starts with Khalid Al-Mansour. Khalid Al-Mansour advanced Obama's career by helping to get him accepted to Harvard Law School. About the only people in this country who do not know who Khalid Al-Mansour is are white people. Mansour is a radical racist, Muslim, anti-Christian, anti-Semite - almost anti-anything having to do with Western Culture or its members. He is a dangerous man. But then, Obama seems to enjoy the company of dangerous men. The oddest fact about Obama's Presidency is this: If he was petitioning the FBI or the DOJ for a job he would not be hired - he's a security risk. But we will make him President?

As a matter of note, he couldn't pass security clearance to be a janitor at the White House.
